Go Green Eco Urban Festival

The Go Green Eco Urban Festival is a grassroots initiative that unites individuals and organizations dedicated to sustainable living, environmental stewardship, and collective action.

The collective organizations, including 4U2 and The Bridge Renewal Trust, focus on engaging hard to reach and unheard individuals and communities, ensuring that everyone has a voice in the movement towards a greener future.

This year-round event, beginning in Haringey, aims to inspire and amplify efforts in caring for our planet and ourselves. The festival will expand its reach to all seven other boroughs of North London, fostering a community committed to sustainability and environmental awareness.

National Food Waste Week

Food waste recycling has faced many challenges over the years. At EER CIC, we have invested considerable time, effort, and resources into exploring and developing effective recycling solutions that help reduce waste and create lasting environmental benefits for local communities.

This year, we are proud to launch our "BinGo Green" initiative, aimed at encouraging as many residents as possible to start food recycling or continue their existing recycling habits. By increasing participation, we can help divert food waste from landfill, reduce environmental impact, and support a more sustainable future.

As part of the initiative, we are offering residents an added incentive to get involved. Participants will have the opportunity to receive a discount on one of EER CIC's services, including:

• Hedge trimming
• Drain jetting
• Garden waste disposal
• Shed assembly

BinGo Green is designed to make food recycling both rewarding and accessible, while helping residents play an active role in protecting the environment. Together, we can transform food waste from a problem into a valuable resource and create cleaner, greener communities.

Community Initiatives

Go Green Places & Spaces and Parks for All are community focused initiatives designed to engage everyone, particularly those who are often underrepresented or harder to reach.

Through cycling activities, guided walks, park events, and environmental awareness programmes, we encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to stay active while developing a greater appreciation of the natural spaces and environment around them.

These initiatives promote healthier lifestyles, stronger community connections, and a shared sense of responsibility for protecting and improving local green spaces. By bringing people together through accessible outdoor activities, we help foster environmental awareness and encourage positive action at a local level.
